For many single mothers, finding a safe and stable home is the first step toward creating a more secure future for themselves and their children.

From there, the initiative provides opportunities for learning and economic growth, and creates a community of support for each woman.

Pamodzi House

Pamodzi House provides a safe, supportive place for boys in the critical year between secondary school and tertiary education—a time when many, even strong students, are left without structure or support.

After finishing school, students often wait months for exam results and placement. During this gap, many are left without the structure and support they need to keep moving forward.

“Pamodzi” means “Together”.

At Pamodzi House, young men find:

  • A safe place to live

  • Mentorship and guidance

  • Daily structure and routine

  • Practical skills for work and life

  • Support with education and fees

It is more than a place to stay. 
It is a place where young men know they don't have to walk through this season of life alone.

We look for places where people are left without the support they need to move forward

and we build the stability, relationships, and opportunities that help close that gap.
